A membership in the Curvebreakers Club, joining a learning team, or having a private tutoring package all come with a wide range of benefits. How are they alike and how are they different?
Each of our services are briefly described below and a comparison chart follows.
Curvebreakers Club
This brand new offering makes our high-quality services more affordable. With rates between $70-$80/hr, families subscribe to a repeating amount of sessions each month and may add on individual sessions for $80/hr. Prices vary by membership levels, which are at offered at 4 hours/month (Bronze); 8 hours/month (Silver); and 12 hours/month (Gold). Students may choose between test prep (SAT, ACT, etc.) or a wide-range of subject help for grades 3-12.
GREAT FOR: Subject tutoring, learning support, supplementing virtual school instruction, maintaining/increasing GPA’s, and more.

Learning Teams
Form your own team of up to 8 students, and receive supplemental instruction from an expert in your chosen subject. This small group option provides long-term tutoring at a low per session rate and offers an opportunity for students to interact with eachother as well as their tutor. Teams can meet with their tutors together in person at the Curvebreakers’ office in Garden City or virtually. Learning Teams can be formed and scheduled by request. Learning Teams are for subject help only, and it is not available for preparation for college entrance exams (SAT, ACT, etc.).

Private Tutoring Packages
Experience the best Curvebreakers has to offer with a private tutoring package for either test prep or subject matter help. Considered our premiere service, students and their parents receive constant support from the tutors and staff throughout their package and beyond. Students preparing for the SAT or ACT may take unlimited practice exams with diagnostic reports and all study materials are included in the package rates. Families may reach out to their tutor or the office between sessions with any questions they may have about the exams, how to register for official exams, and more. Students with tutoring packages for subject help get another partner in their academic careers. We are happy to work with students’ guidance counselors, teachers, occupational therapists, and any other person invested in their academic success.
